Era da un po' che volevo scrivere qualcosa di The mistery zone, il mio pezzo preferito di Transference, il nuovo, bellissimo, disco degli Spoon. Volevo scrivere di come una canzone che parla essenzialmente di quello che potrebbe essere ma ancora non è e del moitvo per cui non possiamo farne a meno sia una volata tirata da una batteria inarrestabile, da un basso che la segue a ruota e da una chitarra singhiozzante cui manca sempre qualche istante per raggiungerli (quell'istante è una mistery zone, ovviamente). E' una canzone sulle possibilità e il loro fascino travestita da convenzionale pezzo rock, che con gli ascolti si svela come un puzzle delicatissimo e miracoloso con un arrangiamento incredibile e una produzione quasi ineguagliabile.
